“The way in which women dress is changing,” says Helen Wheeler, designer alongside Lynda Heather for Naya, a leading Irish clothing brand. “It’s more about comfort and easy elegance than structured tailoring,” she adds.

Naya’s newest collection, its most extensive yet, features nearly 200 pieces ranging from sizes 8 to 22, designed to flatter diverse body types. For over a decade, the brand has thrived on its signature approach: prioritizing comfort and layering with soft, flexible fabrics. Popular items include jersey shift dresses, long-line parkas, and cuffed travel trousers, the latter remaining a beloved staple, reimagined each season in fresh fabrics or colors.

“These basic shapes allow the layering of fabrics or placement prints in different textures,” says Wheeler to The Irish Times.

Highlights from the collection include a pair of black jersey trousers accented with a sporty white stripe, paired with a sleeveless lightweight parka and a mesh-sleeved top. Another standout is a navy jersey midi dress with a tapered hemline, described by Wheeler as “one of our staple pieces.”

While the aesthetic leans relaxed, the collection incorporates select tailored pieces, like a single-buttoned waistcoat with wide-leg trousers in a pale crinkle fabric and a charcoal grey double-breasted suit with a tailored jacket and wide-leg trousers, “which are not too long so they can be worn with runners.” The pieces are designed for mix-and-match versatility, with wide-leg trousers and asymmetrically cut long dresses recurring as key elements for improved fit.

The collection emphasizes dipped hemlines, hooded jackets, and longline waistcoats, with tunic dresses taking center stage for the spring season.

Wheeler personally tests each design before production, noting, “and I always come back to ease: softer pieces rather than tailored looks.” Though she and Heather attend trade and fabric fairs to explore trends and colors, “we always try to do things our way, keeping what customers want in mind. We are already working on spring-summer 2026, so it’s very fast.”

Priced accessibly from €62 for a placement print top to €200 for a parka, Naya’s designs emphasize versatility, allowing customers to style pieces in multiple ways through relaxed, layerable silhouettes.

Naya is available at Logans Fashions, one of the biggest UK and Ireland stockists that also delivers worldwide to the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Shop their Naya clothing collection for free delivery today.
